How do I check my own matric results?
Candidates receive their statement of results from the school or exam centre where they wrote. The Department of Basic Education also announces the official ways to get results, including online, on its website (education.gov.za) each January. SchoolsInfo shows school-level pass rates, not individual results.
How is a school’s pass rate worked out?
It is the number of candidates who achieved the NSC divided by the number who wrote, as published in the DBE’s NSC School Performance Report. It does not show bachelor passes or learners who left before Grade 12.
